Various Attendance related reports

Attendance Report

Attendance Report shows the attendance status for the students which are date and period specific. To generate attendance report go to Attendance >> Reports >> Attendance Report.

Then select the date range for which you want to generate the report and click on Go. This will generate the attendance report.

The report can be downloaded in excel format from the excel icon above.

Average Daily Attendance

This report displays the percentage of present days over the possible present days of all the students in a grade for a set duration. To view this report, from the menu panel select Attendance >> Reports >> Average Daily Attendance and set the date range.

Days Possible : Number of school days in the selected date range.

Attendance Possible : Number of Attendance possible for all the students for all the periods running in all the scheduled course periods. [*Attendance Possible = No. of students * No. of scheduled course periods * No. of periods running for those course periods withing the date range]

Present : Number of present marked attendance within the selected date range. [*Present = No. of students * No. of present marked attendance codes withing the date range]

Absent : Number of absent marked attendance within the selected date range. [*Absent = No. of students * No. of absent marked attendance codes withing the date range]

Not Taken : Number of missed attendance within the selected date range.

ADA or Average Daily Attendance : Percentage of present days over the possible present days. [*ADA = Present Days / Attendance Possible]

Average Attendance by Day

This report displays the percentage of present days over the possible present days of all the students in a grade for each day in a set duration. To view this report, from the menu panel select Attendance >> Reports >> Average Attendance by Day and set the date range.

Attendance Chart

This report shows the full day attendance status for the students. It calculates the half day & full day minutes and generates the attendance report for the entire day.

If the half day & full day minutes are not set correctly in system preference (School setup >> School >> System Preference >> Set Half Day & Full Day Minutes), this report would show a wrong attendance status. So, it's very important to set the half day & full day minutes to get a proper attendance chart.

To generate this report go to Attendance >> Reports >> Attendance Chart. Search the student or a group of students with proper search criteria.

Here you need to select the date range for which you want to generate the report and click on Go. This will generate the attendance report. There are two views of it - daily and period wise, which can be selected from a dropdown marked in red.

Absence Summary

This report shows the the summary of absences within a selected date range. To generate this report go to Attendance >> Reports >> Absence Summary and search the student or a group of students with proper search criteria.

Submitting the search would fetch the students along with a date picker, daily & period wise view dropdown. Select the date range you want to generate the report for and select either daily or any specific period and click on go.

This report shows the total absences for the students within a selected date range.

Teacher Completion

It shows the teachers who have not completed taking attendance for a selected date range. It helps the admin to search the teachers who have missing attendance for a particular date. To check the teachers with missing attendance go to Attendance >> Reports >> Teacher Completion.

Now select the date you want to check the teachers who have missed to take attendance and click on go. If all the teachers have completed taking attendance a confirmation message will show up.

If the teachers have missed to take attendance, the names would be listed with a cross sign in the respective periods.
