openSIS allows the users to generate various reports on Students. We will discuss a few important and mostly used student reports.
Advanced Report
This report helps to gather all the important student data at once. It includes Student's Demographics, Address, Medical, Custom fields and Schedule info, that can be printed together. To generate an Advanced Report, go to Students >> Reports >> Advanced Report. Search the student or group of students with proper criteria and click on submit.
A list of students will show up, select the students by checking the boxes beside their names and click on Create Report for selected Students.
Your screen will display a list of label fields. Select the fields that are required to generate your customized report for selected students and click on Create Report for selected Students.
The selected field details appears in a report format allowing easy print of the page as the following.
Add/ Drop Report
This feature enables you to view the Student’s Enrollment and drop details, collectively. To generate this report, go to Students >> Reports >> Add/ Drop Report and select the date range you want to get details for and click on Go. It will generate a report which will include all the details of the student's enrollment section.
Print Letters, Mailing Labels & Student Labels
These options lets you put up your custom preferences for selected students to generate letters and labels respectively. Proceed with filling in the details under each option selected by going to Students >> Reports >> Print Letters/Print Mailing Labels/Print Student Labels and click Submit.
For Print Letters, along with basic details letter textbox is provided too. Write the letter text here for it to appear with the other details of the student in the print format. This option is mainly used for sending letters to the concerned student or student’s family.
On clicking submit, the letter will appear as the following.
Print Mailing Labels is used to generate student’s mailing address in the form of a sticker. Fill in the details and click on submit button.
Select the kind of mailing label that is required. It can be the Student’s mailing address, student’s primary emergency contact, secondary emergency contact or both the emergency contacts. Click Create Labels for Selected Students to generate the anticipated labels for use.

Printing Student Labels is mainly used to generate a kind of identification for students in the school. This can be used by the teachers as well as the students with respect to the school’s needs. Fill in the details and click on the submit button.
Check the Attendance Teacher and/or Attendance Room if you want to include it in the student labels and select the students from the searched list and lastly, click on Create Labels for Selected Students.

Print Student Info
In order to obtain a descriptive information list of a particular student, you may choose this option for it shows all the categories, including the custom category (if created), and its details. To generate this report go to Students >> Reports >> Print Student Info. Search the student or a group of students with proper criteria and click on submit.
Now choose and select the student information fields plus the student names whose information report is required and click on Print Info for selected Students to generate the student’s information report.
The Student Info report will appear like the following.
Print Student Contact Info
This report collectively displays the contact information of the relationships defined for the student. To generate this report, go to Students >> Reports >> Print Student Contact Info and search the student or a group of students with proper criteria and click on submit.
Select the students from the list by checking the boxes beside their names and click on Print Contact Info for selected Students.

Print Goals & Progresses
This feature enables you to view the Goals and Progresses report that are added for the students. To generate this report go to Students >> Reports >> Print Goals and Progresses and fill in the search criteria for students and click on submit button.
A list of students will appear depending on your search commands. Select a date range, the students from the following list and check ‘With Progress’ if you want the information report including the progresses. Lastly, Click on Print Info for Selected Students button to generate the report.

Student Enrollment Report
This option lets you view the enrollment information of selected students. To generate this report go to Students >> Reports >> Student Enrollment Report. Then, search the student or a group of students with proper criteria and click on submit.
A list of students will appear depending on your search commands. Select the students by checking the boxes beside the student’s names. Then, click on Create Enrollment Report for Selected Students.
